June fun was in full flow this week at St Patrick’s!

Well done to Éireann and Mollai, who shared their Irish dancing medals and trophies with us!
Ava and Orla also shared their soccer medals and trophies — fantastic achievements! Ava did superb work in goals on this occasion, while Orla scored an impressive 16 goals across her matches.Great talent on show — we are very proud of you all! Well done to Logan on getting a green card for being kind and helpful!

Congratulations to Lorcan who got Gaeilgóir na Bliana - Irish speaker of the year from the lessons with Michelle. Séana presented Lorcan so the his award โ˜˜๏ธ

Thanks to Mrs Doherty from Omagh CBS, who came along on Monday to launch rockets with P5, P6 and P7 — what great fun! She even brought two super helpers with her ๐Ÿš€

On Tuesday, our school inspector called in to say hello. She visited P7 to see a lesson and had a chat with some of the children. She was very impressed with them and thoroughly enjoyed her visit!

Meanwhile Primary 6 and some Primary 5 children were away with Mr McGlone, Mrs Mullen and Miss Tibbs at Holy Cross Gaelic blitz! They played great and represented the school well!

Wednesday saw our annual Sports Day. Massive thanks to Mr McGlone and all the staff for making everything run so smoothly. Thank you also to Ryan Mayse and Eva McGlone for their fantastic help — a great support! Ance and Edel provided a lovely lunch for children and parents too. Thankfully, the weather held up and we saw some great sporting talent on display!

Yesterday, our P6 pupils had a wonderful day at Sacred Heart College for their taster day. They came home delighted — especially with their baking and their PE session with our past pupil, Mr McSorley!

Then on Thursday evening, we were honoured to sing the National Anthem at the Naomh Eoghan v Gortin match. The children did us very proud, singing loud and clear. โ˜˜๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’š

The children wore their own clothes to Party on the Pitch today and made donations to NI Children’s Hospice. The school made £180 for this super cause that one of our lovely mummies, Claragh Hargan, is fundraising for.

And what can I say about Party on the Pitch! What a fantastic treat for our children. A huge thank you to the Parent Support Group for organising such a brilliant event. Thanks to Karen, Michelle, Ciara, Michaela, Amy and Nicole for all their help. Everyone had a great time — and despite the weather not being great, it seems the rain made it even more fun (slippy)! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿฆ
