Weekly Update 🤩

Monday got off to a beautiful start with our May Procession in honour of Our Lady. Father Colhoun kindly brought a the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, which added greatly to the occasion. The Primary 7 pupils carried this so reverently and led everyone around the school yard with great pride. 🩵

There was great excitement on Tuesday afternoon when the P7 leavers’ hoodies arrived. They are absolutely wonderful! Many thanks to the Parent Support Group who generously funded half of the cost—this was very much appreciated by the children and families.

Creative Creations made wooden initials with the children at after school Art club. They turned out beautiful! 🖼️

Primary 1 and 2 had planted cress seeds! They kept an eye on them growing! This week they were delighted with how well they’d grown and used the cress to add flavour to their ham and cheese sandwiches 🥪

Thursday was a fantastic day for our Gaelic team, who won the shield at Naomh Eoghan’s first ever tournament! Well done to all the boys and girls who played with such determination and teamwork. It’s often through the days we don’t win that we truly learn to appreciate the feeling of success. A sincere thank you to Mr McGlone and Miss McCauley for their continued encouragement, and to Ryan Mayse and Naomh Eoghan club for organising such a successful event.
The children spoke at assembly this morning about their experience, and we reflected together on how special it is to be part of a team. 💚🖤 Ryan Mayse Naomh Eoghan GAA

Primary 6 and 7 also enjoyed a lively Irish lesson with Michelle today, where they used Scrabble pieces to build as many Irish words as possible—great fun alongside lots of learning! ☘️ Scoil Spreagtha

P1–P3 made the most of the good weather with outdoor learning activities this week, and P1/2 had a fantastic time at their after-school club. P4-7 continue to enjoy time out on the pitch—they are delighted to have Fiachra back for Term 3!

Have a lovely weekend everyone 🤩🙏
