What a lovely start to our week as Primary 4 made their First Confession.

Peer Reading began on Tuesday, with Primary 1 and 2 thoroughly enjoying week one of reading alongside the Primary 7 children. P6 and P7 visited the library also where Jane and Phillipa showed the children how to use the Dewey system! 📚

On Thursday, we had Shared Education with Model PS, Newtownstewart and St Eugene's PS, Victoria Bridge. All three groups had a ball and took part in a wide variety of activities. This week included baking banana bread, singing and musical games, fun games, traditional board games, and a trip to St Eugene’s Hall, where Briege and Joanne shared the stage with the children. Thank you so much to them for sharing their knowledge and expertise. Everyone is already looking forward to Shared Education next week!

What a fantastic day today with our Green Day celebrations! We started the morning with everyone singing the National Anthem, followed by Gaelic with Ryan Mayse. There was then céilí dancing and the ‘An Dreoilín’ dance with Miss Coyle and staff, beautiful violin playing from Mrs Sheridan, and Irish with Michelle. We were treated to some beautiful dancing from Neasa, Fiadh, Conon, Ella, Saoirse, Mollie, Olivia, Éireann and Aoife—there is some amazing talent in our school ☘️

We also celebrated lots of medals and super work this week from Conon, Saoirse, Róise, Fiadh, Alfie, Nevaeh, Aoife and Barry 🥇

Good luck to Eimile as she performs in her second show ‘Six, the Muscial’ tonight 🌟
