Hard to believe the Christmas holidays are almost here ππ
We’ve had another lovely week at St Patrick’s. As you know, Wednesday was a wonderful day celebrating Mrs Harris and enjoying our trip to see Matilda. Primary 1 and 2 also had lots of fun, when the older children were away, with Miss Murray and Mrs Falls—they enjoyed outdoor play and even posted their Santa letters at the post office! That class was also impressive with their green cards—well done!
I was thrilled to capture a photo with our two previous principals, Mr Torney and Mr McGuigan!
Today we were delighted to welcome our prospective Primary 1 pupils and their parents! It was such a lovely afternoon getting to know them, and we hope they enjoyed their time with us as much as we enjoyed having them. It was wonderful to see all those happy faces! π€©
All the children have been working hard practising for their Christmas shows next Thursday. We can’t wait to showcase their talents!
Every child put in their entries for the Omagh Credit Union ‘guess the teddy’s name’ this week! Fingers crossed π€ Thanks to Emma and Maeve for sporting our savings and keeping us updated each week!
Here’s what’s coming up next week:
• Monday: Christmas baking with Mr McGlone.
• Tuesday: P1 and P2 trip to Strule Arts to see Little Bo-Peep’s Christmas Mix-Up.
• Wednesday: Morning dress rehearsal for P1–P4 and our Christmas dinner.
• Thursday: Dress rehearsal for P5–P7 and our big shows:
• 1:30pm for P1–P4 The Nativity
• 6:30pm for P5–P7 When Sasha got swept up the chimney
• Friday: Christmas Fun Day with some very special visitors!
It’s going to be an exciting week ahead for us all!
Have a lovely weekend to recharge for next week’s fun ππ€©π
