Weekly roundup June 5th
13th Jun 2026
June got off to a lovely start despite the poor weather, which tried to put a dampener on things but we didn’t let it 😊
Éireann, Mollaí and Ella proudly shared their Irish dancing medals with us on Monday – well done girls! Primary 7 also enjoyed their Transition workshop with HIPP Psychology, picking up some great tips for moving on.
On Tuesday, Mr McGlone led a netball challenge for P4-7 – it was great competitive fun for everyone involved! 🏀
Primary 3/4 enjoyed some angle work, while Primary 1/2 had fun completing puzzles. Cathal also impressed everyone by showing his brilliant rocket that he made at home 🚀
Thursday was a very special day for Primary 7, who attended the annual Fan the Flame Mass and carried our new school banner. All Primary 7 pupils confirmed in the Derry Diocese came together for an outdoor Mass in Celtic Park. The day finished with a well-deserved treat in McDonald’s!
There has been lots going on across the school – cycling proficiency, bingo, bird’s nests, library visits, plenty of sporting fun and outdoor learning! Mr McGlone shared his baking skills with his class using the left over bananas! 🍌
Well done to Cillian and Ayla for getting green cards for showing lovely manners! 💚
We have loved having Mr Lynch with us every Friday, but today we said goodbye as he moves on to a new post. Thank you for everything, Mr Lynch – we will miss you 🤩
Have a lovely weekend, everyone. Let’s hope for some sunshine next week! ☀️
