Weekly Round Up
🌞 What a fantastic week it’s been, especially with the sunshine making an appearance! 🌞
Primary 7 enjoyed their final swimming session this week and were rewarded with a well‑deserved ice cream treat.
Aoife, Fiadh and Róise shared their dancing medals with us at morning assembly! Keep up the great work girls!
On Wednesday, we were delighted to receive new footballs kindly donated by Naomh Eoghan GAA Club. A huge thank you to Louise and Ryan for presenting them to the school.
Mrs Daly and our Eco Helpers were busy planting and tidying up around the school grounds. The pitch was cut this week too, and Ray has it raked and ready for lots of outdoor activities as we enjoy the good weather.
Once again, shared education proved to be great fun for all classes, with the sun shining throughout. Classes also enjoyed lots of outdoor learning today, making the most of the beautiful weather.
Our girls travelled to Loughmacrory to take part in the Sandra Kelly Gaelic Tournament and played very well. Thank you to Miss Coyle and Miss McLaughlin for accompanying them.
The boys were at Healy Park for the Christ the King Tournament, where they also played extremely well, losing by two points to eventual winners, All Saints. The referees selected a player who showed great sportsmanship for the Paul Corrigan Cup, in memory of a valued staff member who passed away last year. We were delighted that, out of so many teams, Tyler was chosen as Sportsman of the Tournament — a fantastic achievement. Well done, Tyler! Thanks to Mr McGlone for accompanying the boys!
✨ Have a brilliant weekend everyone, and enjoy the sunshine whenever we get it! ☀️
