Weekly 3 of Term 2 snippets

Catholic Schools Week 2026

We had a truly lovely week celebrating Catholic Schools Week. Our daily activities began on Monday with Mass in the oratory, setting a reflective and joyful tone for the days ahead.
Throughout the week, the children took part in a range of activities, but the highlight was most certainly Grandparents’ Day on Wednesday. It was a joy to see so many happy faces in our school. The children proudly showcased their singing and musical talents, and they shared some beautiful stories about their grandparents. It was a very special afternoon for everyone involved.

On Tuesday, Term 2’s After‑Schools Programme began, and we were delighted to welcome Sean from RM Multisports back again. The games room proved to be a huge hit also!

We celebrated many positive awards this week—well done to all the children for their continued hard work and enthusiasm.

P1 and P2 love doing their PE fundamental skills through their topic ‘Cold Places’.❄️

Today, P7 began their 8‑week swimming programme, which they all approached with great excitement.

Another busy week, but one filled with fun, learning, and special memories.

A number of our P7 pupils will be receiving results tomorrow. Please remember that regardless of the outcome, we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them. It is their hard work, manners, kindness, and personality that will carry them far in life—and they show these qualities every single day 🤩💖

Wishing everyone a lovely, restful weekend.

We’re looking forward to making St Brigid’s crosses next week!
