Week 4 Snippets
Happy Friday! 🤩
Today we celebrated National Classroom Assistants Appreciation Day, and we are incredibly fortunate at St. Patrick’s to have eight dedicated and caring assistants who go above and beyond every day. Their support makes such a difference, and we are truly grateful for all they do!
Our afterschools programme got off to a fantastic start this week, with local star Jude Gallagher joining us on Monday and Sean from RM Sports bringing great energy on Tuesday.
We had a beautiful Beginning of Year Mass on Wednesday, and it was heartwarming to see so many family members in attendance. Our P7 pupils did a wonderful job with their readings, and the choir sang beautifully under the guidance of Mrs Sheridan.
There was plenty of excitement in Mr McGlone’s P4 and P5 class as they launched rockets and watched to see which would soar the highest!
Mrs Neill joined in the fun with P7s as they tested their aeroplane designs for their flight topic — a friendly competition full of creativity and laughter! ✈️
Chris Cross kept the rhythm going with some fantastic dance sessions for P1–P5, and the children loved showing off their moves!
At our celebration assembly, we recognised our Pupil of the Month for kindness and settling in well to school — congratulations to all our winners!
We also celebrated the achievements of the girls who took part in the Drumragh College tournament, proudly receiving their silver medals at assembly — a brilliant accomplishment!
Aleeah-Jae, Orla, and Alfie were thrilled to share their weekend awards for soccer and swimming — well done to each of them!
And finally, our Primary 1 children made it into the Ulster Herald this week — a lovely moment for our youngest pupils!
Wishing you all a relaxing and joyful weekend! ⭐️
