Week 3 Snippets ⭐️

19th Oct 2025

🌟 St. Patrick’s weekly Snippets 🌟
We’ve had another fantastic week at St. Patrick’s!

🎢 Dance with Chris Cross
Our P1–P5 pupils began their exciting dance sessions with Chris Cross this week and absolutely loved it! Lots of energy and smiles all round.

πŸ—³οΈ Student Council
Our newly elected Student Council — Conor, Mason, Lorcan, Anna, Tilly, Ayla, Eireann, Ailbe and Ardan along with Mrs Devine— are eager to gather ideas from their classmates and help make our school an even better place to learn and grow.

🌍 Eco Council
Our Eco Council — Clodagh, Harper, Faolan, Iarlaith, Aoife, Alfie, Maisie and Emily — will soon be meeting to discuss ways to make our school more environmentally friendly. Ideas include boosting recycling, switching off lights, litter picks and planting around the school grounds.

πŸ’» Digital Leaders
Our Digital Leaders - Ava, Clea, Tyler, Conan, Vanessa, Jack, Brodie and Rogan - are ready to support the younger pupils with logging in and will help keep our ICT suite organised and running smoothly.
All of our pupil leadership teams were proudly introduced to the whole school this week!

🀝 Drumragh Peace Tournament
Some of our P6 and P7 pupils attended the Peace Tournament at Drumragh Integrated College today. The boys did great but it was our girls team that made it through to the final but were beaten 3-1 by a strong St.Conor’s PS Team! For most of them it was their first time playing soccer and they were brilliant! All of the children represented St. Patrick’s brilliantly — we are very proud of them and the way they conducted themselves both on and off the pitch.

🎡 Tin Whistle with Mrs Sheridan
P4–P7 began tin whistle lessons this week with Mrs Sheridan. The children really enjoyed their first session and are looking forward to learning more! Beautiful singing from the children at choir practice also!

πŸ’› Assembly on Kindness
This week’s assembly focused on Kindness, beautifully led by P6 and Mrs Caterson. They reminded us how a simple smile or hello can brighten someone’s day. This theme is also reflected in our new hall display.

🧠 P5 Polygonle Challenge
P5 are loving their daily Polygonle challenge! Mr McGlone even brought in Tilly from P6 to help with Monday’s word 😊

⭐ After-School Clubs Starting ⭐️
Next week, we’re excited to kick off our after-school clubs with two local stars — Jude Gallagher on Monday and Ryan Mayse on Tuesday! We can’t wait!

Reminders:
Wednesday 24th September is our Beginning of Year Mass at 10am. All parents and families welcome.
Friday 26th September is a holiday for the pupils as we have a staff training day.

Have a great weekend everyone ⭐️
