Week 12 Snippets
25th Nov 2025
This Week at St. Patrick’s!
Lots of hard work all week from the children in their curriculum subjects but we enjoyed many extra curricular activities too!
Our Eco Council, along with P1 and P7 classes, planted bulbs this week. We’re looking forward to seeing them bloom for their first and last Spring at St.Patrick’s! Thanks to Mrs Daly for organising this!🪴
Afterschool activities were a big hit as always! Jude with boxing and RM Multisports kept everyone active with unihoc, while those who preferred something different and not sports related, enjoyed lots of fun games in our games room. Even Mr. McGlone joined in the fun! A big thank you to Ray for setting everything up. 🤩 Thanks to Matthew at Dart District for the magnetic dart board!
At assembly, Conon, Garbhan, and Eireann gave a beautiful rendition of “As the Deer” with Fr. Colhoun—well done to them! 🎶
We had more green cards this week—congratulations to Garbhan, Cillian, Alfie, Flynn, and Enda for their great work! Special mention to Cillian for achieving 100% in his Friday tests for four weeks in a row—fantastic effort! Oisin also impressed us with his super wordle work! ⭐️
Lochlann and Ardan stepped into the teacher’s shoes this week, giving Mr. McGlone a run for his money! P4/5 got up a lovely Christmas tree display this week too! 🎄
Mrs Neill and the P7 class enjoyed some creative maths doodle problem-solving—great fun all round!
Our choir are enjoying their preparations for next week’s choir competition and all classes have been working on the songs for their Christmas shows all week. Everyone is excited to get their parts and scripts on Monday! 🎭
A massive good luck to our super P7s who are sitting Paper 2 of the Transfer test! We will pray that you do your very best after all your hard work 🙏
Have a lovely, peaceful weekend everyone 🙏
