At our school, we are incredibly proud of the passion our pupils show for protecting the environment. Through our Eco-Council meetings and the eco forms completed by the children, it’s clear that many of our young people care deeply about environmental issues and are eager to make a positive difference in the world around them.
The Eco-Schools programme is a fantastic way to nurture this enthusiasm. It helps embed environmental awareness across the whole school and links beautifully with many areas of the curriculum. This year, our main goal is to combine learning with meaningful action to improve our school’s environmental performance.
We’re aiming high — our target is to achieve the Gold Award and proudly fly the Green Flag! We’ve already made great progress in the past, earning the Bronze Award in 2008 and the Silver Award in 2012. With continued dedication and teamwork, we believe this is the year we can go for gold.
A huge thank you to Mrs Daly and our brilliant Eco-Council for leading the way. We’re excited to see what we can achieve together!
